Bench Joiners:

We are seeking experienced Joiners to join our team based in our modern factory in Newton Abbot, working on high class projects for some of the most prestigious clients and brands throughout the UK and internationally.

39 hours per week.
Working hours – 07:30am to 16:15pm Monday to Thursday. 15:15pm finish on Fridays.
30 days holiday per annum including bank holidays.
Life Cover.

Start date: TBC

The role would suit experienced joiners looking to work on high quality joinery projects and successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail, good working knowledge of traditional and modern joinery techniques and be a strong team player.

The role will encompass but not be restricted to the following tasks:
Making and fitting all types of joinery, for example; Cabinets/Drawers/Benches/Desktops/Displays/Signs/Frames/Showcases.
Interpreting and reading manufacturing drawings (CAD drawings) in order to ensure project success.
To attend all training required to maintain necessary certifications.
To maintain company image at all times.

Job type – Full time, Permanent

Salary: £27,155.00 to £35,000.00 per year

Design Assistant:

We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Design Assistant in our busy Design department, predominantly working within the luxury jewellery and prestige watches retail sector.

The role would suit an undergraduate or college leaver keen to work in the design and retail sector, but all applicants will be considered.

The role is to assist the head designer with the production of internal layouts for the clients and brands that we work with on a regular basis, and the position would involve the following work:
Creating original General Arrangement plans and elevations following brand style guidelines.
Updating drawings when revisions are required.
Producing coloured layouts and renders for presentation to clients.
Bespoke design packages for clients.
Site Surveys and preparation of site drawings and brand information packs.

The successful candidate should have:
A good knowledge of AutoCAD and previous experience in using Coral Draw would be beneficial.
A keen interest in design, interiors and construction.
Good communication skills
A full UK drivers license would be beneficial but not essential.

Site Fixers/ Foreman :

We have vacancies for Site Fixers/ Site Supervisor/Foreman roles, to join our installation team in fitting out high end bespoke joinery projects around the UK and Ireland.

This is a full time Monday to Friday role with some weekend work and overtime as required to meet project deadlines. Occasional night work may also be necessary for some of our retail fit outs.

Successful applicants must:
Have good experience in joinery and carpentry.
Hold a valid CSCS card.
Be willing to travel.
Be flexible on working hours – occasional night work and weekend work may be required.
Be hard working, reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude towards co-workers and clients.
Have a good eye for detail and pride in producing quality work.
A full UK driving licence would be an advantage but not a necessity.
